Okay so my original hair color is dark brown; I dyed it a honey blonde color %26amp; it came out a light brown color but that was 3 years ago. Eventually it faded away %26amp; my hair turned back dark brown with a little light brown mixed in it. About 4 months ago i attempted to dye it a jet black color with a midnight blue sheen. %26amp; it rinsed out because the person that put the dye in my hair; didnt do a good job %26amp; it basically faded away in a matter of 2 weeks %26amp; it was supposed to be permanent. Now im going to go to my professional hair dresser %26amp; have her put the jet blue black color in my hair. But i want to know; will the previous light brown hair color i put in 3 years ago have an effect on the jet blue black hair color? Like will it turn it light blue or something? Please let me know! I appreciate it. =]

no it wont turn light blue, your hair will be very dark, the previous dye came out because you probably did not leave it in long enough or it was cheap. the darker the dye the better and more it will stick to your original color with no problem, specially if is a professional doing it

well if you are gonna get it done professionally you dont need to worry about the names or brands of the dyes. they will show you a color chart of the dyes that they have Report It
