I can tell you, though, that I do not see illegal immigrants as being of a certain colour or ethnicity as they come in all colours, shapes, sizes and from countries all over the world. If so the only ways to achieve this look is to have your hair bleached until its about an 8 to 10 blond. then dye your hair with the blue black hair dyes. other then that because of your dark hair it'll be impossible to see a blue sheen to your hair. When you have naturally dark hair that means your hair follicle isn't porous like someone who has naturally blond hair. Because of this you have to make your hair follicles porous. But beware bleaching your hair will damage it. So along with the blue black hair dye you buy, also purchase their deep conditioning system and trim your tips so they don't appear as fried.

First off, the dye is black. It has the reflection of blue in the sunlight. You're not going to get blue hair by using this stuff. I used to use this stuff all the time. It really complements my blue eyes and I found that the color is richer than just black hair.



You should use two bottles if you have thick hair, or if your hair is longer than your shoulders. However, if all your hair was wet by the dye, then you shouldn't need another bottle. If your hair came out blotchy, then you should use another bottle. Using two bottles won't enhance the color.



Did you keep it in long enough?



It's likely that your hair was already too dark.



To be brutally honest, there isn't much you can do right now. To get blue hair, you need to bleach your hair and redye it. You could get a blue dye and hope that some of the color takes so your hair has more of a blue tint in the sunlight. However, you can't do anything now, you should continue to wash your hair and deal with the color. Once the dye stops bleeding from your hair, then it's safe to start considering redying it. I really think you should just try redying it with the same stuff once the color stops bleeding.



I stopped using this dye because you're stuck with it. You will actually need to bleach your hair if you want another color. You won't be able to return to dark brown, or any other color without the use of bleach. Black dye is the hardest to remove because your hair will end up BRIGHT orange (and spotty if you do it yourself) - plus you should really go to a professional (I've bleached my own hair a lot...it's not an easy/enjoyable process).



Sorry. You really have to wait until the dye stops bleeding before you can do anything.

Blue based hair color?

My hair is medium to dark brown with a kinda reddish warm tint to it. I want to remove the reddish tint and have more of a beigy ashy tint. If I use a gray/blue based brown, what result should I expect? Will it work? Or will my hair turn purple? Help!



Blue based hair color?

Basic chemistry. Look at the colorwheel and pick the opposite color to counteract the current undertone. You are on the right track!



Green actually counteracts red - so you want something with a green tone. Blue/Violet cancels gold/brassy tones - like ones you typically get when lightening hair.



Make sure her hair is damp. Put the color and watch it very carefully. As soon as the red is gone rinse it. Do not leave it on longer than needed or the hair will pull too much green and the hair will look mucky.

Um no it won't be any purple or beigey ashy. what you want is a base with green. stay away from the blue-then you wont get the beigey...you'll look too ashy. if you get a green base color (or an ash) your hair will turn out the way you want............the ash that you want should be a green base. if you use what color you bought, it might turn out with a grayish hue to it. did you go to sally's? or any beauty supply store?- Clariol Professional...you can get it at any beauty supply store, and they will have exactly what you are looking for-and swatches so you can see the colors.

I hate to tell you this, but if you are only 13, then LOTS will change between now and then (assuming by "then" you mean when you are 18 or so). My niece was about 5'4" and 115 lbs at 13...by the time she was 16 she was 5'10", 185 lbs, with a size FF chest! You should start locally first with modeling. Try a local agency or watch for pageants and contests. Put together a photo shoot and get a portfolio going. Try for advertising circulars or other such marketing gigs to get started, then see what surprises your body has for you, and then you can prepare to be on america's next top model.



But the short answer is never stop dreaming and never stop working to make your dreams reality. Like Dr. Phil says (gag) "Stop dreaming, and start doing."

Actually, I think you have to be taller too. They want really tall and lanky women to model as "clothes horses" for them, no one should really notice the model; just the clothes. You are too short and too heavy, beleive it or not.

Here is what I think.



Since you have such dark hair and such light skin, using a bronzer would defiently help make it so that your face doesn't look washed out.



Dust some bronzer over your cheekbones and T-Zone with a Kabuki Brush [a little bronzer goes a long way!]



I would also think that for your light blue eyes, you should use a grey, light, dirty pink, or faded green. That would look really nice and make your eyes pop.



Use a black mascara. Since your hair is dark brown, you won't have a problem for your lashes looking fake.



Also, go for natural lip color, it will always look better =]

I have always tried taupes and browns but they just don't look right. It's unusual to have such dark hair and such pale skin AND blue eyes (i should have blonde hair but I don't) So what do I do? And what about eye liner and mascara? If I use black liner I look like a racoon. Please help

silvers (don't go overboard) *****my favorite*****



light, icy pinks



light brown w/ silver specks- NOT GOLD



Aqua and blue might be okay if you blend them well ( if you are going for a dramatic look)



as far as eyeliner goes, VERY lightly(you are probably putting too much on, that's what gives you that raccoon look, I see that a lot!) smudge a soft black or grey pencil under your eye as close as you can to your lash line, rub finger to blend



black mascara will really make your eyes pop yet still looks natural, I say stay away from other colors



Things to stay away from:



reds, golds,bright pinks, blues that don't blend, browns, greens.



Stick to Icy colors, stay away from warm colors as a general rule, but always try experimenting!

It depends on the person. Light olive skin wouldn't look natural with blue-black hair. Natural black or brown-black is better. Now, if they had alabaster (cool fair) skin, it would look okay. Blue-black is a cool tone and when someone who is warm wears a cool toned hair, it doesn't look very good.

If you are looking for a punk look, you can get your hair stripped of color at a salon. Then use Kool-aid (without the sugar added) as a rinse until you find the colors you want. Cyndi Lauper used to do this for her punk look back in the day. Then when you want to change back, just get a rinse in the color you like!

if you bleach your hair before coloring it any of these colors, the color will come out more vibrant. if you go with blue, it will eventually fade into a weird greenish color, so you'll have to keep up with maitenance. pink will turn orangish the same way. i haven't had any experience with green before, so i'm not sure about that one. i like blue hair best.

It can't be dyed, because the blue tends to bleed.



So it has to be chemically altered.

There's really no product that will give him the result he wants that washes out in one wash. There are semi permanent colors, which might give him a blue/black result(especially if he has lighter colored hair), but these take anywhere from 8-24 (or more) washes to come out. In all cases, black is fairly permanent, even when the box says semi or demi permanent.



If you're looking for more advice, try www.haircrazy.info. There are some good brands of blue color that while not temporary, will wash out within 2-4 weeks on unbleached hair. If his hair is dark, some of the dark blues would probably give a blue/black result.



The only thing I can think of as temporary would be hairsprays or hair gels, but I don't think I've ever seen one in a blue/black color.



Try Sally Beauty Supply if there's one in your area. They might have a temporary product(spray/gel), but keep in mind that it won't look as good as coloring it permanently.

I want to dye my hair jet blue black but my hair was once brown...HELP!?

Okay so my original hair color is dark brown; I dyed it a honey blonde color %26amp; it came out a light brown color but that was 3 years ago. Eventually it faded away %26amp; my hair turned back dark brown with a little light brown mixed in it. About 4 months ago i attempted to dye it a jet black color with a midnight blue sheen. %26amp; it rinsed out because the person that put the dye in my hair; didnt do a good job %26amp; it basically faded away in a matter of 2 weeks %26amp; it was supposed to be permanent. Now im going to go to my professional hair dresser %26amp; have her put the jet blue black color in my hair. But i want to know; will the previous light brown hair color i put in 3 years ago have an effect on the jet blue black hair color? Like will it turn it light blue or something? Please let me know! oK, I just asked a question like this recently. I dyed my hair a cobalt blue, but did it like highlights. That would probably a lot better with your hair because the blue would flush out your pretty eyes and clash with your skin. Try doing like three thick streak and four or five thin ones. Blue hair is of the hook, dude. You should totaly were it to school if the school alous you to bring hairspary hair. But dont do it if the school wont let you unless if blue is your halloween costume or some thin.

I like blue. You're young have fun. As long as your parents say it's okay, go for it. Just don't let the attention keep you from your school work. By the way, girls color their hair all the time, so you shouldn't have a problem at school for it just because you are a boy. It wouldn't be fair.

I think its great when you are able to express yourself through your hair and personal style. Check with your principal first. Some schools are pretty strict when it comes to that sort of thing. But otherwise, go for it! Just make sure it washes out before you do your whole head. Blue can turn into a faded aqua colour pretty fast!

I am not sure it might be too extreme!are you doing it for Halloween? I have seen kids in my school that (5years ago) die there hair for no reason and it seemed funny.(Get something that will wash out quickly so if the first day of your hair being dyed is horrid, your able to wash it out and your not stuck with it forever!) I would feel embarrassed if I did it myself.
